There is Hope in this season

Going into October I've recognised the change in the weather and the darker evenings and I've been reflecting on how it feels to go into change. We don't always know what's around the corner and life is good at throwing us a curveball.

I often talk to my clients about the seasons of life and how quickly things change and we can face new challenges, we all experience at one point or another seasons of loss and struggle, times when we feel the darkness pressing in and in those seasons it can be really difficult to visualise or imagine things can get better or lighter days will come, it can feel so far away, pain is almost like a shield that stands in between you and hope.

Its not always possible for things to return to how they were and that can be hard to accept, the sadness around that needs to be grieved and accepted but that doesn't mean a new season can't bring you peace and joy again. Growth often happens in the dark places, if you think of the seed planted in the soil a time will come when it will bud and blossom again and so will you. Meanwhile, it's important to take all the support you can, use every resource and be kind and compassionate to yourself giving yourself time, you have every hope that spring will come again.

And remember this too shall pass..............
